Whether acting, doing a gig or voiceover, on stage or in front of a camera shooting a scene, you can be sure that Donovan will bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude and professional quality.


His voiceover includes work on the still in production, animated series FunkyTown and an animated series for Sony entitled Apollo's Pad where he is the singing voice of the character Hudson.


As well as lead vocal on the 95 dance classic The Real Thing (Originally done by Jellybean), over the years his voice has been used by an array of "A" list talent. As lead singer with Heatwave, Hot Chocolate, Love Train and Soul Power and backing for the likes of Dionne Warwick, Louise, Mica Paris, Maxi Priest, Tina Turner, Enrique Iglesias, Steve Brookstein, Andy Abrahams, Lee Ryan, Lionel Richie and James Morrison have all used his excellent vocal talents and he has appeared on Televison countless times appearing in seminal shows 'The Word', 'The Clive James Show', 'Saturday Night Fever' ‘MTV Most Wanted’ and 'Motown Live'. He has appeared live at Wembley Arena, The NEC Arena, The London Arena, Millenium Dome (now The O2), Glastonbury Festival, Hackney Empire, Her Majesty’s Theatre, The London Palladium and the infamous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York. But he has now decided to release his own album FREEDOM which is available on iTunes NOW!!


He completed a hugely successful run in the cast of the hit West End Musical 'Daddy Cool', which successfully transferred to Berlin, performing with Michelle Collins from 'Eastenders'. And also had a prominent part in the award winning touring musical Over The Rainbow: The Eva Cassidy Story, starring Faye Tozer from Steps, as Chuck Brown. There have also been appearances in the TV series Casualty and Judge John Deed and various TV commercials.
